We are looking for a Flight Dispatcher to join our Flight Operations teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all flights are planned and conducted in a safe and economical manner in accordance with GCAA and other regulations, company policy, and procedures. Obtaining all overflight/landing permits, and slots, in accordance with all regulations in an expeditious and economic manner.
Responsibilities:
Obtaining all overflight/landing permits, and slots, in accordance with all regulations in an expeditious and economic manner.
• Flight planning and filing with all applicable ATC agencies, (utilizing PPS software)
• Calculating the Take-off/Landing limitations.
• Computig the required fuel, and flight duration.
• Working knowledge of reading and implementing MEL/CDL.
• Following and monitoring the flight throughout and evaluating and re-evaluating the weather, route, and other factors during the flight.
• Planning for alternates (departure, en route, and destination)
• Collating/reviewing/delivering WX, NOTAM’s, PIREPs, en route, and airport Info to the flight crew.
• Ensuring aircraft, crew, and passengers have all necessary equipment, documents, visas, and any other entry requirements by concerned states/regions.
• Ensures that all airports and routes are operationally suitable and meet operator's requirements.
• Setting up ground handling, in accordance with the operator's preference, appropriate facilities (weight restrictions, parking, aircraft servicing, hangarage, etc., and economical and efficient ground handling
• Flight following/monitoring/timely relay of movement messages.
• Staying current on all applicable NOTAMs, FARs, AIP’s, ICAO recommended practices and procedures, and the regulations of each state of operations.
• Maintaining knowledge of aeronautical navigation systems, charts, airspace, air traffic control, aircraft performance, AFM, MEL, aeronautical communications, and publications.
• Ensuring fuel is being arranged and fuel releases relayed in a timely manner.
• Responds to requests of the charter department and flight crew for international trip support services.
• Preparing/disseminating complete flight briefings for the flight crew.
Qualifications:
Educated to a minimum of high school certification.
Must speak and write English fluently.
Must hold a valid CAA Flight Dispatch License.
