Job Description

Reporting Line:

The position will be reporting to the Head of Performance Management & Planning the National Investment Program and may work with other teams based on tasks assigned.


Overview

The program is looking for a supply chain and logistics expert, specialized in implementing cost-effective purchases of all goods and services, as required. Ensuring quality control and adhering to the government policies and procedures on supply chain management.

Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market

Other duties include monitoring supplier performance and ensuring contractual obligations are met.

Roles & Responsibilities:


Act as a point of contact between the Nazdaher and suppliers
Identify potential suppliers based on project requirements
Negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors and suppliers
Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.

Qualification & Experience

5 years of working experience and knowledge of the industry and market conditions
Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in supply chain management logistics, or business administration or any related fields.
Proven experience managing supply chain operations
Strong understanding of procurement, drafting & reviewing contract, negotiation techniques, and conflict resolution skills
