Transport Lead/Officer
General Responsibilities:
To ensure transportation requirements between the site & delivery locations are managed robustly ensuring on time & in full delivery
To manage transportation & Health and Safety escalations relating to the site, providing timely & quality feedback to the Customers
Provide key support to the off-site DHL Control Tower, informing them of site requirements and ensuring that all KPI's are met
Liaise with the customer on operational challenges, provide root cause explanations & manage improvement plans
To represent DHL Transport Control Tower in the customers site. Attend regular meetings & build good working relationships with all stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement activities in relation to transport planning & optimization
Qualifications:
College Graduate (Operations/Industrial/Business/Supply chain).
Experience within a Road Transportation Environment (3+ years)
Experience in Oil & Gas (Preferred)
