Business Development Responsibilities
Strategy and business planning
Support the team in Oman with their business plans and execution of these plans.
Support the assigned key sector groups with their business plans and execution of these plans.
Keep track of progress of business plans and BD activities.
Analysis and research
Actively develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Oman office’s clients and market through extensive internal and external research.
Monitor, analyse and communicate market, industry and competitive trends for the Oman office.
Monitor, analyse and communicate market, industry and competitive trends for the assigned sector group.
2 - Associate
Job Description
Primary Job Purpose
• Providing legal advice within the specialised area of practice
• Carry out research in other areas of law
• Comply with new laws within the jurisdiction and regionally.
• Maintain client relationships.
• Support and mentor junior team members
• Contribute to Business Development activities within the jurisdiction and regionally
• Write articles for publication.
• Collaborate with lawyers and support teams in Oman and across the region in a timely manner
• Assist senior lawyers on an adhoc basis
• General commercial contract drafting,
• Attendance at various Ministries and other Government departments to process applications and handle related client work
• Company establishments, assisting senior lawyers on drafting complex transactional document.
• Drafting DD reports
• Drafting memoranda of advice
• Regulatory advisory on corporate establishments and restructuring;
• Provide support to Corporate Commercial teams
