The Burj Al Arab Jumeirah is looking for UAE Nationals to join our Front Office team.

Senior Executive Front Desk



The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:



Work within the Front Office department operation by ensuring product quality, maintain Jumeirah Brand standards and that optimum service is provided to all hotel guests, according to the organization’s business objectives.

Ensure that all suite allocations are done according to guest preferences and all suites are ready prior to guest arrival. Handles any guest feedback that relates to any delay in providing exceptional service according to the standard.

Deliver the exceptional 7-star service to all Burj Al Arab guests.

Ensures highest levels of check in experience for suite guests

Minimizes waiting times for guests at check in



Senior Executive Concierge



The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:



Responsible for creating ultimate experiences through local city knowledge, tour advice, shopping and dining recommendations and reservations.

Updating opera concierge notes, generating guest preferences.

Providing personalized service to all resident and non-resident guests in the lobby.

Ensure concierge desk is manned and manage professionally all guest services and requests upholding Jumeirah and LQA standards are followed during all guests’ interactions by self and concierge colleagues.

Responsible and Supervising Concierge Desk and lobby presence.

Ensure to be present at all’ V.I.P / High profile guests checking-in, coming for show arounds or F&B outlets

Assist door, driveway and lobby team in arrival process / Check-in for VIP guests

Efficiently Manage email correspondence and telephone requests

Meeting resident and non-resident guests to facilitate feedback and obtain guest preferences

Adhere luxury and personalised attention to all requests based on the LQA and LRA standards



Assistant Front Office Manager



The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:



Greets and escorts VIPs on arrival and departure, ensuring their arrangements are to the guest satisfaction

Oversees & completes any outstanding Front Office duty issues as per the handover

Monitor and promptly respond to all CSI feedbacks relevant to Front Office

Be aware of credit policies and procedures and liaise closely with Finance Department to ensure that credit procedures are properly carried out

Ensures credit / payment is completed for all guests checking in

Coaches, counsels and disciplines colleagues, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance, and conducting performance appraisals in line with company guidelines

Supervises suite allocations and handling of group arrivals and departures

Ensures that all departmental standards are followed

Liaises closely with other departmental leaders to ensure ultimate service and provide support where required

Immediately actions all special guest requirements and requests

Is a continual source of information, help and assistance to all guests

Is fully proficient and knowledgeable with the Hotel PMS, Micros and HotSOS.

Has a full and comprehensive knowledge of the Hotel, including all departments, services and outlets.

Maintains a high level of communication and feedback within the department

Has a full understanding and knowledge of all in-suite services, amenities and functions.

Assist hotel Accounts Department with any queries relating to the Front Office operation for both in-house and departed guests

Follows up weekly with Lobby GSM regarding their responsibilities

Ensure all appraisals, IDP’s & 1-2-1’s are completed within deadline




About you:



The ideal candidates for these positions will have the following experience and qualifications



UAE Nationals only with a family book

Proficiency in spoken and written business English.

Able to effectively communicate with all levels of colleagues and Management.

Experience preferred having worked in reputed 5* Hotels

At least High school graduate, University degree within hospitality is desirable

Minimum 3-5 years experience within a 5-star hotel is required for the Assistant Front Office Manager role
