Our position of Head of Marketing & Business Development, based in Dubai or Casablanca, Morocco.
Head of Marketing & Business Development MENA develops and implements a marketing strategy for product positioning, market penetration, and pricing that will improve the organization’s competitive position. He/she responsible to accelerate growth in the MENA region by unlocking complexities & delivering Barry Callebaut’s strategy across multiple countries.
Key Responsibilities Include
Market mapping of full potential & support the new team to unlock opportunities
Assess the correct needs across MENA region & drive discussions with key stakeholder
Develop brand rollout plan & marketing mix for the launch
Analysis of market performance, local trends, consumer behavior, competition’s actions and customers’ feedback in order to generate new marketing campaigns & product development initiatives necessary to meet customers’ needs

Strategic & business development initiatives
Support senior management with Business development & M&A roadmap for partners
Takes lead, together with Sales, to effectively put in force commercial plan and gain market share with different brands and product segments
Liaise with finance/sales/distributors to develop strong market share
Lead the marketing team of MENA to deliver on gourmet strategy
Expand Callebaut across segments with on-ground & digital lion share, drive city strategy approach for Cacao Barry in Dubai, Tel Aviv & Casablanca
Streamline the Marketing approach to suit more local needs
Facilitate & oversee the team to achieve goals
About You
Master’s in Business Administration or similar
English business proficiency both written and oral
10+ years of experience in sales & marketing
Experience in managing multiple brand-portfolio across Middle East & Africa markets
Experience in managing 360 degree marketing calendars for global brands and driving distributors to deliver the strategy
Past experience of new products launch & new market entry with existing/new portfolio
Team management skills
Experience in developing business plans and project management
Ability to manage complex business models & working with cross-functional teams
Working knowledge of FM & Gourmet chocolate business
Having strong communication skills
