Pramac, part of the world’s leading gas generator and third largest diesel generator manufacturer, is looking for a Regional Manager - Asia for its commercial branch in Bahrain.
Reporting directly to the Director of Sales - APAC, MEA & CIS region, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for identifying market opportunities for our products and determining distribution structure and channels. This role identifies, assesses, attracts and negotiates with potential partners in any segment (e.g., residential, commercial, and industrial), manages and expands business with existing customers and coordinates all marketing activities.
Key duties:
Identifies market opportunities for our products.
Determines distribution structure and channels.
Identifies, assesses, attracts and negotiates with potential partners in any segment (e.g., residential, commercial and industrial).
Manages and expands business with existing customers.
Coordinates all aspects of Generac transactions (e.g., sales, legal, credit/payment, logistics, and shipment) with customers.
Coordinates all marketing activities with customers.
Develops strategic relationships.
Supports new promotional programs.
Administers sales training in-market.
Provides world-class customer support.
Defines product specs and business plan to support new product development proposals.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education, Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field required; MBA preferred.
5 – 7 years of sales and marketing experience. International trade experience. Experience in international logistics and customs requirements. Experience in markets in the region
Working knowledge of OEM/Dealer distribution
Fluency in English
Prior experience in Asia / South East Asia markets is preferred
Effective presentation skills; effective negotiation skills
Willing to travel internationally 75% of the time
