1-Flight Dispatcher

We are looking for a Flight Dispatcher to join our Flight Operations teams. The successful candidate will be responsible in ensuring all Etihad flights are planned and conducted in a safe and economical manner in accordance with GCAA and other regulations, company policy and procedures.

Specific Responsibilities
Prepare OFP's and assist PIC in-flight by providing required information such as maximum allowable takeoff and landing weights, weather reports, airfield conditions, NOTAMS and many other informational components required for the safe completion of flight. Prepares or assists the PIC in preparing the OFP and ATS flight plans and files the ATS flight plan with the appropriate ATS unit. Compute the amount of fuel required for the safe completion of flight according to aircraft type, distance of flight, maintenance limitations, weather conditions, fuel tankering policy based on.
Assists the Flight crew during the preparation phase of the flight as and when required.
Briefs the Flight crew on any aspect that may affect the safety or security of the flight and monitors Etihad aircraft while in-flight and assists or advises the flight crew where required.
Responsible for the safety and security of flight planning when exercising operational control.
Adhere to ATC regulations and company policy, pay particular attention to special operations and flights operating within the NAT HLA and re-filing of ATC flight plans when flights are disrupted. Adhere to ATC regulations and company policy whilst on shift.
Analyze and evaluate usability of airports operating hours, fire coverage, LCN etc. meteorological information to determine potential hazards to safety of flight and to select the most desirable and economic route.
Update the commander of significant changes to weather or flight plan and recommends flight plan alternates, such as changing course, altitude (Flight Level) and if required en-route landings. Produce all required flight plan documentation and ensure this is available to the flight crew. Brief the flight crew of any irregularities they may encounter on the flight.
Liaise with maintenance for any M.E.L. items, which may affect the performance of the aircraft being planned. Obtaining payload data from the handling agents to produce the operational flight plan.
Furnishing the PIC while in Inflight with the appropriate information necessary for the safe conduct of the flight.
Undergo extensive training to have earned a Flight Dispatcher’s license and participates in frequent and detailed recurrent training courses covering aircraft systems, company operations policy, meteorology, GCAA regulations to maintain their license as required by GCAA. Ensuring he remains up to date with all regulations and policies and undergo recurrent training and testing to maintain their license.
In the event of an emergency, initiate relevant procedures specified in the Etihad Airways Emergency response plan manual.


2- Manager Export Control

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as Manager Export Control. In this role the job holder will be responsible in managing Etihad’s export control system and relevant processes.
Accountabilities
Accountable to plan and execute the successful implementation of system improvements to the existing export control system and align to current Cargo business environment. Close coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibility to ensure Etihad Cargo remains compliant to international and country specific regulations at origin, transit, and destination, related to all restricted and controlled commodities, parties and country embargoes.
Manage export control on a day-to-day basis, ensuring no cargo shipments are accepted and uplifted if potentially conflicting with applicable regulations in the country of origin, transit, or destination.
Act as main POC across Etihad cargo regarding regulatory export compliance and provide guidance to cargo commercial to attract new business within regulatory restrictions.
Liaise and co-ordinate with local or relevant authorities to evaluate scenarios and present preferred options to ensure compliant operations.
Responsible to protect Etihad Cargos brand reputation in the industry and in front of relevant regulatory bodies, avoiding fines and penalties due to regulatory non-compliances.
Responsible to identify service failures and trends, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate such failures and work closely with Manager Authorizations and Standards to develop and implement robust preventive actions.
Liaise with IATA and international regulatory bodies on policy and process expectations and ensure the airline is always compliant with regulation.
Lead / Participate on Corporate initiatives to enhance Ethics and compliance, Legal, sustainability and / or corporate responsibility frameworks.
Responsibility for implementation of applicable and meaningful KPIs to track performance level and provide reports and where applicable recommendations to Cargo Senior Management


3- AMOS Competency Development & Change Manager

This is an amazing opportunity to lead change and improvements around Etihad Technical’s maintenance information system, AMOS. You must be a proven change manager, with strong technical knowledge of AMOS and have demonstrated experience in driving outstanding business outcomes. The role requires a self-motivated professional to work closely and collaborate with wide range of stakeholders to deliver projects/initiatives according to safety & quality requirements, schedule, and budget.
Accountabilities
Design and lead key AMOS improvement initiatives to enhance airworthiness, improve operational efficiencies, and financial performance
Own the project plan and lead jointly with the business owners/champions the planning & execution of improvement activities
Own and manage relationships with relevant suppliers and other external stakeholders
Incorporate suitable methodologies, such as an agile cross-functional team framework, to ensure the development of competency is created and delivered across the business
Feedback lessons learned from projects and launch continuous improvement initiatives to ensure project results and applied changes are sustained
Provide regular reports to the project sponsor and other key stakeholder to ensure awareness and effective decision making
Support other digital projects and activities as required.
