General Accountant and Storekeeper

Job Roles / Function

Financial Aspect
1. Prepares Financial Statements and related lead schedules for Internal reports & External Audits
2. Liaise with Auditors during yearly External Audits
3. Prepares Monthly Bank Reconciliation
4. Handles Guarantee applications and renewals
5. Handles invoicing as required.
6. Checks entries related to payments, invoices, as required
7. Able to accomodate functions of staff on annual leave

VAT / Compliance Aspect

1. Responsible for the preparation, filing, payment & review of VAT related returns
2. To monitor compliance with FTA & Banks
3. Manage FTA portal of the Group

Qualification
1. Bachelor's Degree in finance and accounting, preferred
2. Qualified Accountant ‐ CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA
3. Minimum of 3 years' experience working in Oman for large distribution/trading organisation.
4. Working knowledge of VAT requirements
5. Has background or basic knowledge on Bank Guarantees / Letters of Credits
6. Experienced in general bookkeeping
7. Experienced in MS Office esp. Excel
8. Preferably single
9. Ready to join immediately

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: RO500.000 per month
