Overview
The purpose of the role is to lead the development of a structured portfolio of projects and systems to implement the business environment improvement initiatives in Oman. The selected candidate is a senior member of the program leadership team.
Job Description
In cooperation with the program’s leadership team, the Head of Business Environment is responsible to plan and execute a comprehensive proactive approach to implement the business environment initiatives through three verticals; Investor Journey, Investment Promotion Tools and Legal and Judiciary. The selected candidate will lead the business environment team to set up the government business services strategy. The key objective is to create an investment ecosystem that attracts new investments to the country. He/She will create and develop new initiatives to improve investors journey across the government discipline and introduce legal, procedural and financial interventions across the government investors relationships and liaison with different stakeholders to enhance Oman’s holistic business environment.
3- People Services Director
General Description:
The role holder will be responsible for managing and overseeing Nazdaher internal services activities, including Human Resources, Finance, General Services, and Procurement and Contracts in order to support Nazdaher towards achieving its set goals and objectives.
ü Develop and execute the internal services strategy for Nazdaher (i.e. HR, Finance, General Services and Procurement and Contracts) in line with the overall objectives of the organization.
4- Contracts Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities:
Act as a point of contact between the Nazdaher and suppliers
Identify potential suppliers based on project requirements
Negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors and suppliers
Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
