HSSE Manager
Essential Functions
Responsible for maintaining high standards of HSE in all operational areas.
Prepare and submit HSE monthly reports to the Director of Estates & Facilities Management & Client.
Conduct and organize Staff Training to update the skills and knowledge of staff, and in addition prepare necessary training modules. Regulate toolbox meetings ensuring that they are conducted in timely fashion.
Conduct Safety Induction of the new arrivals at the site.
Monitor the Journey Management Systems.
Guide Management on supplier safety.
Guide Management on safety procedures, environmental issues, HRA’s, STOP and occupational health.
Conduct in-house audits, inspections in all areas of work; investigate and report HSE incidents.
Organize and manage Emergency Evacuation and Fire Fighting Drills in all workplaces and accommodation and applicable areas.
Attend all relevant HSE meetings and presentations chaired by the Client and organize the onsite monthly HSE meetings and conduct HSE Presentations.
Responsible to conduct daily HSE inspections in accommodation blocks, dining and recreation facilities, stores, kitchen, bakery, laundry, maintenance areas, workshops, offices etc. and external areas ensuring high standards of Health, Safety and Environmental issues are maintained.
Play a key role in implementation of high food and personal Hygiene, HSE and Quality Systems in the location.
Contribute professionally to initiatives enabling improvement to Company’s performance.
Monitor and contribute in the implementation of Company policies, systems and procedures on site.
Facilitate the incorporation of the security function into the integrated Management System.
Review element of HSSEMS to ensure it meets with client requirements as per contract at project site.
Guide and support project /site management in providing safe and suitable working environment.
Managing client interface and implementation of HSSE Contract requirements.
Liaise with the executive management of organization for necessary revision to the HSSE management system and company documentations including policies.
Facilitating Corporate and project HSE Committee meeting and other client required meeting.
Involve with Client Audit and inspection, responsible for corrective action implementation and follow up to close out the finding.
Monitor the Control of Work and Permit to Work system in the project as per the client requirement.
Identify Hazards, unsafe acts/conditions and measures to control and advice suggestion to the operation Management.
Monitor, Analyze and achieve targets set for company and client KPI.
Develop HSE Plans and Procedures.
Support site teams in performing Task Risk Assessment and Technical Safety aspects.
Fully Aware of Incident Notification, Investigation, Reporting and Follow-up Procedures.
Initiate and carry out emergency drills and train employees in different emergency scenarios and responses.
Updating and Monitoring Non-Compliance/Action Register.
Communicate to the employees on introduction of new legislation and policy.
Conduct HSSE audit within the company and project HSSE scope.
Prepare, review and implement of project HSSE related documents as per contract requirement.
Lead workplace accident/Incident investigation and recommend corrective actions.
Submit daily, weekly and monthly report for the project to the client as per the existing procedure.
Monitor and complete the water and food sample analysis on monthly basis.
Closely monitor the water management system and clinic visit of the staff and prepare the tracker system for further reporting on monthly basis.
Manage the Training matrix of the delivered training session as per the Weekly HSE schedule.
