Main purpose of position
Currently we are looking for a Head of Finance & Asset Management in Duqm, Omán to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. Scatec ASA has signed an agreement with ACME Group from India to establish a 50/50 joint venture to design, develop, build, own and operate a large-scale green ammonia facility in Oman. The first phase of the facility is expected to produce 100,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually with about 300 MW of electrolyzer capacity and powered by 500 MW of solar. The facility will be located in the Duqm Special Economic Zone of Oman. Once fully developed the facility is expected to produce up to 1.2 million tonnes of green ammonia annually. This is an existing position being in charge of finance and asset management for our Joint Venture CleanTech Solutions LLC. As our Head of Finance & Asset Management you will be supporting the Country manager with overall management responsibility of all sites and head office - including all commercial, financial, tax, compliance and regulatory matters. Further, overseeing EPC and O&M contractors on behalf of the SPVs and supporting project development

As our Project E&S Manager you will be required to drive the E&S workflows in liaise with cross disciplinary teams through the project life cycle and make sure that potential E&S impacts and risks are being accounted for. In doing so, you will interact proactively and engage with all types of stakeholders, spanning from local communities and respective authorities to international consultants, lenders and the JV’s business partners and internal business unit teams.
