ROLE PURPOSE:
Maintain and administer the ERP Systems (Oracle Financials) in order to ensure recording and reporting financial transactions in efficient and controlled manner.
Assist in identifying and resolving Financial systems issues.
Maximize the benefit of information systems investments as well as to recommend and implement new solutions.
Assist Finance Teams in achieving Digital Transformation initiatives that would enhance work efficiency and controls.
ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND CHALLENGES:
Administer and maintain all Master Data in ERP e.g. Suppliers Master Data, Customers Master Data, Cash Management Master Data and Chart of Accounts. Also, administer all systems’ configurations in Oracle Financials.
Manage the Finance ERP Focal Points network for different Oracle Financials (GL, AP/AR, CM, FA, I expense & Hyperion) in all issues and development requirements
Arrange in coordination with all Finance Function to identify the annual demand from IT function.
Execute Finance Digital Transformation strategy by analysing, identifying and leading the implementation of required changes in coordination with all concerned stakeholders in and outside Finance.
Coordinate with Finance and IT team members to identify the best cost-effective IT solutions that meet business requirements and enhance the internal control.
Assist in assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of existing financial systems and execute the agreed develop improvement plan by Finance Team Leaders.
Arrange for proper ERP training to Finance members and ensure the systems are used to their full capacity.
Assist in the development of all new finance department processes and policies. Also, ensure timely update of the existing procedures and policies as and when required
Liaise with Internal, External and state auditors for any audits related to Finance Systems and ensure closure of all audit recommendations in proper and timely manner.
Ensure in cooperation with IT Function, existence of proper Information Security Control over finance systems and data
Assist in designing and developing financial system solutions that aim to enhance existing financial applications (oracle EBS, Hyperion & BI ,..etc) including preparation of process diagram.
Liaise with Finance Managers, process owners, and end users to define finance department requirements in terms of IT solutions.
Assist in investigating and reporting Business Control Incidents related to Finance Systems as well as make recommendations for systems’ improvement to prevent recurrence.
Ensure proper administration of the accesses provided to the banking portals and the authorities granted.
Develop, share and implement overall Continuous Improvement strategy for Finance. Act as Finance Focal Point in all Lean related matters.
Active participation in the design of solution for the identified pain area. Integration of potential solutions with different streams like lean and IT.
Be the catalyst for change management and effectively manage the translation of business requirements into systems and process requirements.
Assist in finance risk and compliance management. Help to review financial policies and procedures manuals periodically.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor degree in Management Information System or Accounting
Has a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Proven experience in design, development, and implementation of financials solutions, systems, and processes.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Office based role with base location in Sur
5/2 work pattern
