Your New Role
The Data Architect role will be a key member of the team responsible for development and governance of technology roadmaps, strategy, and architecture with a strong emphasis on data architecture & governance. The role will be accountable for working with cross functional teams to assess, develop data strategies and architecture for Survitec’s technology platforms supporting our end-to-end processes.
The Data Architect will play a lead role in the strategy, roadmap, and oversight of our data intense platforms like CRM, BI and MDM and will need to act as a catalyst for change, demonstrate growth mindset, collaborate with Business Partners & Functional Solution Architects to drive solution architectures that align with the broader technology strategy.

· Creates, manages and communicates architecture storyboards that articulate businessrequirements and how business, information, solution, technical and security architectureconnecttodeliveroverallbusinesssuccess
· Drives advances in technologies and architectures to increase the value delivered by technologyand digital capabilities, either through improvements to the efficiency of technologyenvironmentor throughthosethat reducethetotalcostoftechnology operations
· Uses specialist knowledge to recommend group-wide design, development and maintenanceactivitiesandinitiativesofdigital capabilities
· Documents complex "as is" and "to be" processes and describes effectively the changes requiredto migrate to the "to be" capability;takes account of the system, process and people impacts ofchangeonthe business
· Leads a solution-specific collaborative digital product or service design process, gathering inputacross product and service portfolios and varied business areas to ensure fit for purposesolutionsthatdrivebusiness valueandmeetoverall architecturaldesignprinciples
· Explores and develops a detailed understanding of external developments or emergingtechnologies, challenges and issues and evaluates their potential impact on or usefulness toSurvitec
· Elicits complex business requirements using a variety of methods such as interviews, documentanalysis,workshopsandworkflow analyses toaccuratelyexpressbusiness requirements
· Conceptualises elements of digital strategy and digitally enabled business change projects;develops practical implementation plans and appropriate engagement activity plans to securesupportandactionfromawide rangeof resources
· Monitors and reviews performance and behaviours associated with solution specific relatedactivity toidentifyandresolveadoptionissuesornon-compliance
· Acts as subject matter expert in an area of business, solution, technical or security policy,regulation and operational best practice. Maintains external accreditations and in-depthunderstanding of current and emerging thinking, models, tools and practices through continuing professional development, attending conferences and reading specialist media.
Skills & Experience
Essential
· Educated to University level
· 8-10 years’ experience as an Enterprise, Solutions or Data Architect across multiple industries. Manufacturing, Sales & Service experience will be a plus
· Experience building data strategy and roadmaps tied to end-to-end business processes
· Experience using layered architecture to solve business problems. Systems of Engagement Systems of Records (Ex: IFS ERP, Sales Force, MDM etc.) and Systems of Insight (BI/DW)
· Deep understanding of Data Architecture and Data Governance in an environment that includes multiple ERP systems, MDM, BI and E-Commerce and PIM platforms
· Experience in driving data architecture, standardization and data residency definition in a digitally transforming environment
· Experience with IFS ERP is a plus
· Experience with Automation technology, Advanced Analytics, and application AI/ML to enable digital transformation is a plus

2- Data Analytics Scrum Master
Job Summary
We are looking for a IT Delivery Lead well experienced in data engineering, within the BI & Analytics area, to drive data solution delivery in an Agile Scrum environment coordinating work with the Business Analyst, Development Teams, operational, and cross-functional application teams.
Duties and responsibilities
- Act as a scrum master, embedding agile methodology and scrum practices, to drive delivery at pace
- Keep development team focused on their Sprint plan to accomplish the Sprint goals
- Coach the delivery team to continually improve through application of DevOps, agile ceremonies, effective measurement, and the prioritization and application of learnings
- Provide leadership by example in the development of good coding standards, with up to 50% of your time tackling the most challenging coding demands on the team
- Foster an attitude of self-management on the team and standardize scrum practices
- Work with Delivery manager to manage the backlog and new requests
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
- Ensure Customer outcomes are met through delivery in line with internal stakeholder expectations
Experience, Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree within an IT Discipline
- Data engineering background
- Solid experience working in Scrum Master role
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Passion and deep understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks
- Experience applying various estimation techniques, ensuring good and timely decisions that keep Survitec moving forward
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to execute with limited information and ambiguity
- A constant focus on what could be improved and helps others to see the opportunity to improve
- Proficient in using DevOps in Scrum Framework
- Applies agile in the most effective and efficient way to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English
- Desirable Criteria
- Demonstrates an understanding of concepts, best practices & functions to implement Data Analytical/Warehousing and Advanced analytics Solutions
- Scrum Master certification
