Job Description – Senior NAV/ Business Central Functional Consultant – Finance



A Microsoft Dynamics Business Central - Finance Functional Consultant is required to capture business requirements and facilitate the implementation in Business Central.


Who We Want?


· Expertise: 5- 7 years Dynamics NAV/Business Central consultancy experience


· Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Dynamics BC


· Experience of providing Pre-Sales Demonstrations to relevant business stakeholders


· In-depth knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications


· Certified to deliver projects using the Microsoft Dynamics Sure Step Methodology or Success by Design


· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple demands


What You Need to Do?


· The right person will provide effective delivery of consultancy through implementations activities ranging from business process workshops, conference room pilots, testing and training, to name a few.


· Be a team player working closely with other members of service delivery, i.e. Managed Services and other NAV consultants and Developers.


· Key Responsibilities include consulting covering all aspects, including presales and supporting the sales team, product demonstrations, analysis, implementation and training of end users utilizing Dynamics NAV or Dynamics BC.


· Business Process Analysis - Documenting as-is and to-be within accurate and detailed scoping documents


· Liaising with developers and clients to act as a point of communication and coordination


· Quality Assurance & Documentation Knowledge


· Experience of working on full life cycle implementations across multiple versions of Dynamics NAV


You will Need


· Bachelor ‘s Degree / Master’s degree in Finance or Equivalent.


· Relevant Microsoft certifications.


· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills


· Excellent understanding and knowledge of core Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC modules


· Microsoft SQL Server understanding


· Ability to create high quality functional documentation and strong requirements gathering skills


· Proven ability to write effective system and process documentation - including business and system requirements, process diagrams and data charts


· Exceptional customer service skills, follow up with clients and team members and takes initiative to anticipate and solve problems.


· In depth understanding of any Business Function will be an added advantage . Ex: General Accounting with indirect taxation, consolidation, supply chain process)
