Sheraa (Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center) was launched in January 2016 to support and grow early stage, tech-enabled ventures. Over the past six years, Sheraa has supported over 120 startups that have raised over $87MM in investment, generated over $130MM in revenue, and created 1,300+ jobs.
To support our SEF (Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival) Marketing team, we are currently looking for a Freelance Marketing Specialist to be based onsite at our offices in Sharjah Research Innovation and Technology Park.
Job responsibilities
Support the development and execution of multiple marketing campaigns.
Create and maintain a marketing calendar.
Work closely with the designers and video editors to create attractive assets for our social media accounts.
Support delivery of SEF marketing events, overseeing invite lists, and covering the event on social channels.
Engage with the startup community on social media by hopping onto discussions and trends in the ecosystem.
Edit our website through WordPress.
Requirements
Team player with growth mindset.
Good writing skills for copywriting.
Ability to come up with creative ideas.
Passion for content creation.
Interest towards personal development, books, art, and entrepreneurship.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Must have their own Freelance visa to work in the UAE.
